UIB Fraud Reporting Channel

With the framework of the fund implementation measures for the Recovery and Resilience Facility (EU Next Generation) and in accordance with the Spanish government's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the UIB has, as an implementing institution involved in the plan, produced the University of the Balearic Islands Fraud Prevention Plan. The UIB has established a reporting channel to detect fraud.

The university has made this channel available to the general public and, in particular, to individuals who work in public administrations, to enable reporting of:

  1. Possible cases of improper use or receipt of public funds and dishonest behaviour or conduct contrary to the principles of objectivity, effectiveness and full compliance with the law
  2. Conduct by staff at public institutions that involves the use or abuse for private gain of information to which they have access due to their duties or may possess due to the improper use or receipt of public funds, or any other use thereof that fails to comply with legal regulations
  3. Acts or omissions that may constitute administrative irregularities when processing files.

Personal data protection and confidentiality shall be respected at all times. In this sense, complainant identities shall be protected, except where the individual reporting the information expressly requests the opposite.
